Rentaro Nishimura initially trained as an interior designer in Tokyo, then as an architect at the AA in London, his passion for design, construction, and form, leading him to complete his MA in product design.

Rentaro takes inspiration from origami, repeat modular forms, and flat pack design, he combines his interest in architectural design and engineering to create a bold yet minimalist aesthetic. Experimenting with various digital technology such as 3D printing and laser-cutting, producing tactile, wearable pieces that combine cutting edge technology and creative design.
