After a career as a fashion photographer seeing and being at the cutting-edge of high fashion, Kate Rodgers settled down in Derbyshire and started Luceir. The name comes from the word Luce/Light. She loves the effect on gemstones when the light hits them, wanting to create collections of high quality jewellery which are fashionable and affordable but also super special.

With her small team they use traditional techniques and modern designs. The team cut and set all the opulent stones in-house. They feel strongly about adhering to ethical and sustainable practices. The pieces are made in silver, golden vermeil and 9 carat yellow gold.
