Julia discovered her desire to design and create with her hands whilst experimenting with various mediums studying at Art college in London. Julia worked as an apprentice to a renowned Hatton Garden trained silversmith whilst she set up her jewellery workshop on a picturesque Victorian farm in south Somerset.  In 2015 Julia became a Fairtrade registered jeweller, this enabled her to offer reassurance and confidence that her jewellery comes from a place where there is no exploitation, child labour or adverse environmental impact.

Julia’s work incorporates silver and golden elements adorned with precious gemstones, magpies are a signature feature and inherent to her work, she adores their edgy subversiveness, their beauty, but also their immense intelligence and emotive qualities.
