After a 30-year career in the jewellery industry, including the position of creative director of De Beers, Reema Pachachi decided to launch Kuka-me; meaning ‘lift up’ in Zulu. Working in silver and 18 carat gold, Reema designs and creates her jewellery in her Notting Hill workshop. The pieces are cast from recycled precious metals and then hand finished.

Her inspiration is drawn from nature, architecture, and textiles. Techniques such as reticulation and engine turning are used to create unique, tactile textures.
