Gilly originally hails from Lancashire, but now lives and creates from her studio in the fishing village of Plockton in the Scottish Highlands. Using shock elastic (high grade, industrial strength), Gilly is inspired by nautical architecture such as ropes and pullies on board yachts. She wraps, drapes, and adds beautiful handmade silver elements.

Her work is dramatic and reflects the strength and struggle of a sea faring way of life – challenging the properties of control and resilience with minimal aesthetics. Gilly’s work is available in an array of vibrant colourways.
