I've never bought contemporary jewellery online before - how can I be sure that my purchase will feel and look as good as the product image featured on the website?

  • Understanding that jewellery is an emotional purchase, our photographers attempt to reflect the true character of each piece with the images used on this website.
  • Some of our products include natural materials, such as silver, gold, mother-of-pearl, pearls, amber, wood or gemstones. Please note that by the organic and handmade nature of these products, each piece is totally unique, and the colour finish and shape may vary from one piece of jewellery to another.

I am buying contemporary jewellery for somebody else, what if they don't like the gift?

  • It can be the worst feeling when you have bought somebody a piece of contemporary jewellery, and they really don't like it. Hopefully they will, especially if you ask us to giftwrap your present for you.
  • If you or the person you have bought the contemporary jewellery for is unhappy for whatever reason, we will offer you a refund or an exchange up to 28 days after your purchase. Just send your item back to us in its original condition and in the packaging you received the item in, letting us know if you would prefer a refund or exchange, and also make sure to include your name and address.
  • We cannot extend this returns policy to earrings, for hygiene reasons. So you might be safer to choose something else, or vouchers, just to be on the safe side!

If I place an order today, when can I expect to receive my jewellery?

  • Simple, for all orders received before 3pm, we will dispatch the same day. You have a choice of Royal Mail delivery services – 1st Class Recorded Delivery for £2.50; Special Mail guaranteed next day before 12 for £6; or overseas international delivery.

It is reassuring to know about the company I am buying from, can you tell me a little more about Element?

  • Element Jewellery is based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, England. Our contemporary jewellery store is located here, as are our headquarters and website operation.
  • Element have been established for 3 years and have developed relationships with suppliers of jewellery who have a passion for the work they produce.

 

How can I be sure that my payment is secure?

  • Your credit or debit card payment is processed by Protx, an online secure transaction company. Protx provides very high levels of internet and physical security to ensure sensitive information is never compromised.

If I have sensitive skin, will I be allergic to Element Jewellery’s products?

  • If you have experienced a reaction when wearing silver jewellery previously, it may be due to the nickel content in the silver. All of Element's products are made from 925 sterling silver, without any nickle content.
